N2 - The treatment of wastewater as a resource contributes to achieving a sustainable environment. This research investigates the efficiency of the wastewater management system in one integrated teaching laboratory building in Depok City towards optimization. In this new eight-story teaching and laboratory building, an integrated wastewater system is installed. The treatment installation consists of a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and rainwater harvesting system. The data collection was done through the as-built drawings examination, interviews with building managers, and recycled water volume calculation. The calculation results show that the current recycled water usage potentially reached 31.5% from the total of 27,820â l/day supplies. This research suggests extending the filtration and purifying stages after the STP for improvement so that the effluent can also utilized. The reusing water can be used to create gardens and supply buildings around the cluster.
