Abstract
Introduction: Cytoines have the capability to influence the polarization of immune system. Transplacental transfer of cytokines is postulated to influence the devlopment of fetal immune system. This study aims to assess any transfer of pro-and anti-inflammatory cytokines as well as to evaluate the capacity of cytokines production by the ummbilical blood immune cells.
