N2 - The quantum and classical transitions of the Neel vector in antiferromagnets are considered. Expressions for the tunnelling and thermal activation rates of the transitions are given for low temperatures, near the cross-over temperature and for high temperatures, so that they could be checked experimentally. Quantum and thermally activated nucleation in bulk solids and two-dimensional films of antiferromagnets is also presented.
