Currently, the potentials that exist in the karst landscape area are getting serious threats, one of which is due to mining activities. Mining activities in karst areas cause environmental degradation in the area both physically and non-physically. Therefore, this study was made to provide output in the form of a management strategy in the karst landscape area using the SWOT analysis method. From the results of the SWOT analysis, there are several strategies, namely the S-O Strategy, the S-T Strategy, the W-O Strategy and the W-T Strategy. The results of the SWOT analysis for the SO strategy include the development of special interest tours such as cruising tours and educational tours in karst landscape areas, increasing collaboration between local governments and village governments to make this area a tourist destination, Creating a special website for karst landscape tourism., making programs to maintain the sustainability and uniqueness of the karst landscape area. Then for the strategy (ST) the results of the analysis are optimizing the role of the community in protecting the karst landscape area so that environmental damage does not occur such as illegal mining activities, highlighting the uniqueness of this karst landscape area so that it can become a reliable tourist area, increasing public understanding of the importance of benefits. socio-cultural resilience. Furthermore, the strategy (WO) includes optimizing the quality of human resources by providing counseling to the public about the importance of preserving the karst landscape area, optimizing tourism promotion through print media, the internet and parties who take part in the development of tourism in landscape areas. karst, Conducting activities or events with the theme of awareness to preserve the environment in the karst landscape area. Finally, the W-T Strategy whose output is to coordinate and collaborate with related parties to overcome environmental problems that occur in the karst landscape area, improve the quality of human resources so that they are able to maintain their natural sustainability, increase the existence of the karst landscape area with more aggressive promotions.
