Abstract

Abstact-Plastic bags have become mandatory goods that we often used daily because plastic bags have low prices, lightweight, durable and waterproof so they are widely used for various purposes. But the plastic bag is non-biodegradable, if it not managed properly, it can pollute the environment and living things. Indonesia has the second-largest contributor to plastic waste position and the top ten countries with mistakes managing the plastic waste of the world. To overcome this problem effectively and efficiently, a holistic research needs to be considered, this can be examined from the behavior of the community in reducing the use of plastic bags. The main purpose of this study is to determine the factor of behavior in reducing the use of plastic bags by using The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Partial Least Square to statistical analyzing and hypothesis testing.
