The Impact and Prevention of the Pandemic Crisis on the Sustainability of Private Universities in Indonesia

    Abstract

    Indonesia for the first time confirmed the Covid-19 case in March 2020 announced by President Joko Widodo, the impact of the pandemic made the economy unstable which also affected higher education by decreasing the number of students enrolling, so leaders, especially private higher education, took several strategies In order to survive the pandemic, this study took a sample of 69 respondents from private universities in 34 provinces in Indonesia, the research method used quantitative methods using the SPSS 25 measuring instrument, it was found that the Low Cost strategy was the most widely used strategy, leaders of private universities in Indonesia.
