abstract = "The objective of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of Propolis honey candy on the formation of C. Albicans ATCC 10231 and Clinical Isolate biofilms. C. Albicans ATCC 10231 and Clinical Isolate were cultured on 96-wellplates that were previously coated with saliva and serum on each well plate. On each group, a solution of Propolis honey candy, X candy, and honey candy was distributed with a 50% concentration of solution. The well plates were then tested using MTT assay. For the X Candy, both C. Albicans ATCC 10231 and Clinical Isolate biofilms that were coated with saliva and serum showed a significant increase of biofilm formation (0.669±0.320) compared to the control (0.223±0.138). However, there were no significant differences between Propolis honey candy (0.171±0.120) and honey candy (0.217±0.112) in the formation of C. Albicans ATCC 10231 and Clinical Isolate biofilms compared to control. Propolis honey candy has a tendency to decrease the formation of C. Albicans ATCC 10231 and Clinical Isolate biofilms.",
