Abstract

The application of Data Mining has become common practice by organizations in an effort to support the achievement of the goals of the organization itself. Therefore it is important for organizations to identify critical success factors (CSF) in implementing Data Mining to prevent failures that can cause organization losses. This study uses a systematic literature review approach to the use of Data Mining with a focus on success factors. A keyword search yielded several CSF findings that had a major influence on different fields of industry. Research studies sourced from 3 online databases, including ScienceDirect, IEEE Xplore, and ProQuest. The disaggregation of the study was carried out by identifying the findings of several CSFs which became the main factors including Stakeholders, Data Availability & Data Quality, Top Management, and Communication.
