Abstract

Nano-Fe3O4 had been synthesized by rapid and green chemistry approach using rust as Fe source and palmitic acid as capped and reductor agent. Liquid parrafin is used as an unexpensive medium of dispersion due to its high boiling point in thermal decomposition. The Fe3O4 was characterisized by FTIR, XRD and TEM-EDS.
