Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) is an advancement in technological innovation that connects objects and devices via the Internet, using IoT tools, enabling businesses to identify, locate, and control various objects. IoT is seen as an advancement in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) applications that function to help receive and disseminate data in an organization's network in real-time. Research on the adoption of IoT into the supply chain domain is still rare, moreover research related to IoT capabilities in the supply chain, its effect on company performance in the retail sector is still not clearly confirmed. This study refers to organizational capability theory to determine the effect of IoT capabilities on various dimensions of Supply Chain Process Integration, Supply Chain Capability, and ultimately, company performance. In this study, data collection was carried out using a cross-sectional survey of a number of retail companies in Jakarta (N = 161). Furthermore, the data were analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM-AMOS) to be able to develop an acceptable empirical structural model.
