Abstract
Adolescent girls who dropped out of schoolare at risk for situational low self-esteem, delinquency, early marriage, until the loss of the nation's generation quality.The purpose of the study to get a deep understanding about the experience of adolescent girls who dropped out of school.This study used a phenomenological design of the six participants in Bogor city.The results found eight themes, those are dropout reasons, decision makers quit school, emotional response, family response, environmental response, after dropping out of school activities, future expectations and the importance of school.The study recommends the importance of working with various stakeholders to develop a program for teenagers, especially teenage girls who drop out of school to avoid negative behaviors and psychosocial problems.
