Abstract
Unique sesquiterpenoids, named aphanamol I and II, have been obtained from a Meliaceous plant Aphanamixis grandifolia as minor toxic principles. Structures 1 and 2 were established by spectral study, in which the two-dimensional NMR pulse sequence COSY/COSY-45 takes an essential role.
