Abstract
This research discusses the development strategy of Tanjungpinang City. The purpose of this research is to analyze the tourism development strategy of Tanjungpinang City and to analyze the factors that are the strengths and obstacles to the tourism development of Tanjungpinang City. This research is a qualitative research with a postpositivism approach. The results suggest that the Tanjungpinang City Government build integration between all SKPDs in Tanjungpinang to participate in developing Tanjungpinang City tourism and create cooperation between the tourism golden triangle of the Riau Islands, namely Bintan, Batam and Tanjungpinang to build better tourism.
