title = "Simple lightning detection based on cellular networking method",
abstract = "A simple lightning detection system has been constructed based on cellular networking method. A negative lightning discharge coordinate that between earth and cloud was observed systematically. A set of cell phones were configured to catch the lightning sound. Its frequency and amplitude are processed based on discrete Fourier transform exhibit unique spectrogram. Furthermore, the spectrogram was divided into several part to obtain harmonic component of amplitude producing lightning sound intensity. Elaborating sound intensity from detector in the several cell phones, the lightning position was determined by using global positioning system embedded in the cellular phone. Signal processing was applied to reduce noise from lightning also discusses together with accuracy behavior of system. This research is able to determine thunder sound dominant frequency range and count the number of thunder claps. ",
