Responsible Use of Social Media in Pediatric Dentitsry

In the past, dental health information not easy to socialize, even to give some information about caries, needed some formal meeting. It is understood, even many programs built by department of healt and welfare, the oral health cases always show high level in our society. Because the cases is increse and pediatric dentist or dentist need to educate the society, we always try to find the easiest ways. This decade has become the revolution of media through the born of social media. Social media is a modern equipment to transfer many information today. This media has special characteristics that haven't other media even some characters weren't in the past. Pediatric Dentistry as part of medical profession has ethical issue about many things. If some one wants to use this media, should be understood that not everything can be shared through this way, especially for pediatric dentistry issues. There were cases that make some information about oral health not for something better but make some information missing to uderstand. In this session we hope can understand our position as pediatric dentist or dentist when using social media for our profession and also can give some recommendations for our guidelines. Have we use this media correctly for our knowledge?
