Abstract

Reservoir visualization using geobody improve the quality and efficiency in mapping the distribution of reservoir. More detailed understanding of the reservoir, detection of anomalies, determination of facies and stratigraphic also obtain structural details in the form of 3D objects is an excess of geobody interpretation techniques. In this study uses two data are 2D and 3D seismic Penobscot Field, Nova Scotia-Canada. Object of this study is layer of Baccaro Member- 1 (Abenaki Formation of Late Jurassic) and dominated by carbonate. Geobody extraction of 3D seismic results can be seen the distribution of the reservoir which is interpreted as a reef or buildups have direction SW-NE.
