Abstract

Integrated analysis of well and seismic data can be used to predict the presence of reservoir. Wells data, which have vertical accuracy, will be a complementary to the seismic data in describing the character of the reservoir. Well property analysis was conducted to determine the range of targets and 'cut window' reference of seismic data inversion and AVO analysis. This study is quite able to describe gas sand reservoir zone at depth 717 ms on well R-1 with a low acoustic impedance values. AVO analysis results give a positive value to the product A∗B in the reservoir zone. The results of the intercept and gradient cross plot show the AVO class 3. The results are consistent with the DST data. Result of LMR confirms this zone filled with fluid character. This method can be applied to identify the presence of gas reservoir in other spots on exploration field.
