Reliability of the Six Minute Walk Test Performed on Rectangular Tract for Intellectual Disability Patients of Obesity in Jakarta

Abstract

Commonly found problems in individual with intellectual disability (ID) are obesity and low endurance level. Obesity in individual with ID is caused by their Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) which is 10-15% lower. Low endurance level is also found, and maybe caused by the lack of physical activity. Six minute walking test, one of the simplest cardiorespiratory endurance test, is difficult to performed for ID population.
