Abstract

Various ring-profile types radiating element are described in this study. Additionally, a new type of R-MSA element with slit as a polarization controller is investigated. It is shown that the polarization orientation can be controlled by setting the slit in the appropriate direction of the radiating element. Hence, it is indicated that the antenna presented is applicable as a new type of planar antenna.
