Access to the internet, including the phenomenon of social media, brings the impact of widespread change in every aspect of political communication today. By following the general logic of social media that is interactive, information or political messages are no longer seen as merely public aspect, but are often either recognized or not included in the criteria of individual and group interests.This condition is often informal and personalized.This study analyzes the activities of president Joko Widodo from few of his viral VLOGs in the public. Using the paradigm of qualitative research, Joko Widodo change its political communication become more personally. It is intended that information or political messages that is in the form of presidential activities and government policies can be well received by the people and the younger generation. Personalization transforms Joko Widodo from his political actor and his position as president, into an ordinary society or individual social media user. This condition also changed the content of the message to be behavioral or personal life. Political communication that Jokowi did, with his personalization becomes an advantage for himself or his government, which looks a lot of viewers and comments achieved from the vlog or become viral. But unfortunately, not from the issues of public interest. It still needs to be further research whether with this vlog, political or public knowledge becomes increasingly involved.
