Abstract
Following acute phase, COVID-19 survivors may develop new or persistent symptoms for 1–6 months after infection, sometimes accompanied by a multi-organ complication called Long-COVID. WHO identified it as a priority because it considers complications and weakened functions of various organs, so rehabilitation management plays an important role in the recovery of COVID-19 survivors. This study aims to describe the Long-COVID management in hospitals in various countries to become lessons for hospitals in Indonesia. A systematic literature search using keywords was carried out ftom 6 online databases to identify rehabilitation management studies of survivors with Long-COVID. Then assessment of study quality and data extraction.. Six studies discussing the rehabilitation of COVID-19 survivor by multidisciplinary team, one study discussed strategies for improving survivor outcomes without revealing the rehabilitation team. Variations of rehabilitation services include tele-rehabilitation with home-visit, tele-rehabilitation with tele-monitoring from hospital, rehabilitation service in hospital, and initial assessments at hospitals then rehabilitation at home. In conclusion, Long-COVID rehabilitation management has been carried out in China, Italy, UK, USA and Austria with a multidisciplinary approach to improve COVID-19 survivor’s quality of life. This expected to be an illustration for hospitals in Indonesia to provide rehabilitation center for survivors with Long-COVID.
