Diastolic hypertension is often associated with cerebrovascular disease and Alzheimer's disease in the elderly. A non-pharmacology way to reduce diastolic blood pressure is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of RESIK on diastolic blood pressure iamong elderly in Depok Indonesia. This twas a quasi experimental study with pre and post -test one group only design. This study recruited 50 respondents. The pre-test data were collected before intervention and the post-test data were collected 6 days after intervention. The data were analyzed using pair t-test. The paired t test result showed that there was a significant differences of diastolic blood pressure before and after the intervention. (p value = 0.001). The RESIK have a significant effect on the diastolic blood pressure in the elderly.
