PENCEGAHAN DALAM ILMU KEDOKTERAN GIGI ANAK, CAKUPAN DAN PELAKSANAANNYA

The management of pediatric dentistry is not only succes on the treatment, but the important thing also is to motivate the patient could prevent and keep the teeth and moth health. Prevention in pediatric dentistry not for caries prevention only, but it has broad meaning including prevention in periodontal disease, malocclusion,a nxiety and fear in dental treatment, cross infection and focal infection caused of teeth. The aim of this paper is to discuss prevention in pediatric dentistry its scope and management. Hope that all of the dentist especially pediatric dentist can do optimal and continuous prevention, so the main goal of children health can be reached.
