Optimization of Energy, Economy, Environmental and Waste Management Strategies and Policies in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of several conflicting objectives in the economic, environmental, energy, waste, and waste management sectors. In this paper, multi-objective optimization which commonly used to solve problems that have various conflicting objective functions develops. The weighted goal programming model is proposed to solve the objectives of various sectors simultaneously. Model validation is carried out by following the Presidential Regulation on the National Energy General Planning and regarding the target of reduction of waste and waste management. The results of this study could be used as an additional analysis for policymakers to make policies in the economic, environmental, energy, waste, and waste management sectors.
