N2 - Fatigue is a major factor that affects road safety. In Indonesia, the number of accidents seems to increase every year. Unfortunately, research that focuses on fatigue while driving is still limited. This study focuses on discussing oculomotor responses in measuring fatigue associated with driving. Experimental design used in this research, consisted of various factors of fatigue based on literature, and measured several indicators of oculomotor response. The experimental design in this research was modeled according to the real working condition of commercial drivers in Indonesia, with fairly long working hours (15-16 hours/day). The benefit of this study is to develop a valid method for detecting fatigue based on oculomotor response. It is expected that the finding can help to minimize the level of accident in Indonesia. In conclusion, there is still disagreement from literature on good oculomotor response for measuring fatigue, which warrants further investigations such as the present study.
