title = "Modelling the effect of hospitalization in tuberculosis spread",
abstract = "A tuberculosis model involving hospitalization was discussed in this paper along with a fast and slow infection phenomenon. Medical treatment in the hospital was assumed to perfectly protect infected individuals in infecting susceptible individuals. Basic analysis regarding the existence and local stability of the equilibrium state was conducted and showed how it is related to the basic reproduction number. We found that whenever the endemic equilibrium exists, then it will be stable and the disease-free equilibrium will be unstable. Numerical simulations were given to support our theoretical results and to give a better interpretation.",
