Abstract

the modeling of small-scale wind turbine generator that is composed of a permanent magnet synchronous generator, rectifier and DC-DC boost converter presented in this paper. The proposed equivalent circuit model is divided into 12 conditions based on diodes and transistor switching conditions which affected by 3 phase stator frame voltage. Each condition is developed by mathematical model and validated through simulation with and without PO maximum power point tracking algorithm.
