Abstract

This paper describes a simple way to utilize C MEX S-function in MATLAB/SIMULINK for motor vector control modeling and simulation purposes. C MEX S-function is a powerful block in SIMULINK that capable to describe a dynamic system written in C language and linked into MATLAB. Basically it is categorized into three minimum structures. It is possible to model and simulate a vector-controlled motor drive with only using combination of these structures. A memory block is used for eliminating an algebraic loop so that speeding up the simulation. Simulation results will be compared with experimental ones for validation.
