N2 - This study aims to describe the role of the community in the maths village towards providing a community-based education for primary school students in the Bandardawung Village. This type of research was descriptive qualitative research. The data collection methods used were observation, interview, and documentation. The data collection was taken directly from the field. The results of this study indicate that the participation of the community in the Bandardawung Maths Village is following the concept of community-based education from the community, by the community, and for the community. Meanwhile, the role of the community has been identified, starting from the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the community-based education program in the Maths Village of Bandardawung.
