Abstract

Urban Forest is an area with special conditions as one of the important natural resources for urban life. The special treatment is that at least in direct contact with the trees in the urban forest with humans, a special method of management in the urban forest is required. This study aims to find methods that can be used in urban forest management. The method used is the latest technology that drones are capable of carrying mapping equipment such as aerial photography and LIDAR. The research area was chosen for the urban forest of UI Depok Campus. The results of this research is mapping with Drones with various information both spatial and temporal information about UI Urban Forest that was 31 years old (1986-2017). The conclusion of this study is that urban forest management can be done with Drones that can bring aerial photos and LIDAR.
