Abstract

Today, knowledge management known as a tool that will give lots of benefits for companies, such as facing employee turnover and creating competitive advantage. Setting and controlling the process of knowledge management, companies need Knowledge Management Governance. This research is conducted to see and examine Knowledge Management Governance process, especially in a company with semi-decentralized environment in managing knowledge. This research is conducted in a Finance company in Indonesia that has successfully managed knowledge in the company. The data is collected by semi-structured interviews with Training, Learning, and Development department, Credit department, IT and Communication department, and an observation of the company practices and documents. This research successfully identify the Knowledge Management Governance process in the company that classified in some aspects, such as Authority, Risk Management, Organizational Culture, Strategy Development, Value Delivery, Resource Management, and Evaluation & Measurement.
