title = "Kaon photoproduction from threshold up to 5.5 GeV",
abstract = "By using two different methods we have combined the recent isobar and the Regge models to explain kaon photoproduction process from its threshold up to W = 5.5 GeV. To this end, a transition region at energies between those commonly used by the conventional isobar and the Regge models, i.e., 2.5 ≤ W ≤ 3.0 GeV, is proposed. For the isobar model we use the previous result of Clymton et al. [1]. This model fits experimental data from threshold up to W = 2.8 GeV. In the high energy region the Regge model is utilized, where experimental data up to W = 5.5 GeV can be nicely reproduced. The result is compared with those of previous studies.",
