Internal Organizational Communication in State-Owned Enterprise

Abstract

This article investigates how organizational communication in state-owned company particularly in internal communication applied to streamlined information flow in big company with many branch office in some area. It examines the internal communication system and its relation with social information processing in state-owned company. Furthermore, it examines the linkages between company's structure,size and nature with concern of the company to internal communication to create an effective flow of information processing inside the company. Through the qualitative analysis with observation and interview to collect data, the study showed that state-owned company apply both computerized mediated communication and interpersonal communication that contain both formal and informal communication type as their information processing system in internal communication. They had realize that internal communication is an important thing in company's performs and utilize several ways to control and monitor information flow within their internal communication.
