N2 - The concept of smart city (SC) being quite popular in many research areas today. From information system (IS) point of view, SC should be supported by the implementation of the appropriate system. However, there are no previous researches revealing how far IS supported SC daily operation. This study aims to provide systematic literature review about types of IS that support SC daily operation. However, this study also gives the country regions where the implementation of these IS are held, and areas of SC that are supported by the IS. The methods used by this study is systematic literature review based on Preferred Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. 26 papers are used as the main references to this review, gained from some academic databases such as Sciencedirect, IEEE, and JSTOR. The result shows the groups of information systems proposed, regarding the types of IS, country regions where IS are implemented, and areas of SC that are supported, as the solution of problems in SC concept. This study reveals the state of the art of the IS research in SC.
