N2 - The purpose of the research is to characterize Indonesia satellite profile in terms of capacity (bandwidth and transponder equivalent) supply until year 2035. The resource divided into 3 parts named primary, secondary, and tertiary satellite filings. Primary satellite filings consist of filings that have operational satellites in orbit that are collected from SIMS (Spectrum Management Information System) government database. Secondary satellite filings consist of filings that are still in the notification process in BR-ITU before launching or bringing-into-use (BiU) that are collected from space network list (SNL) ITU database. Tertiary satellite filings consist of the list of filings that are collected from satellite operator plans before registration process nationally and internationally. Then all the empirical data are being mapped and analyzed in order to know the capacity in each service (FSS, BSS, EESS, military, research) and as per frequency band (UHF, VHF, L, S, C, X, Ku, Ka, V) nationally. In further, all Indonesia existing and planned orbital slot will be listed.
