Physical activity depicts body movement generated by the musculoskeletal system. Study investigating the increase of cumulative physical activity that improves health quality is necessary.In contrast, sedentary lifestyle has been linked to various diseases including diabetes melitus (DM)type 2. Individual physical exercise program is arranged with cardiorespiratory exercise as the corecomponent based on frequency – intensity – time – type of exercise principle. Physical exercise isone of the pillars in diabetes control. Regular physical exercise in DM type 2 yields cardiometabolicprotection in term of preventing or decelerating diabetes evolution and its complication. Hatha yogaand arm swing exercise have shown benefits in cardiometabolic status. In this regards, to initiatiea prescribed, structured and regular physical exercise program in diabetes patient is certainlyimportant. The key success of comprehensive approach in diabetes management involves physicalexercise, blood glucose and oxidative stress control.
