Improving university competitiveness by management information system

Management information system is one way to promote university competitiveness. On previous research has found information system factors that can affect university performance in Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Ranking. Information system factors eliminated using Delphi method through consensus of 7 experts. Delphi method was used as measured of variables in PLS-SEM. The Estimation of using PLS-SEM method of 72 lecturers as respondents shows that the latent variable of academic reputation and citation per paper are having significant correlation to university competitiveness. Priorities in improving university competitiveness through information system are subsequently: (i) network building on international conference, (ii) availability of research data to public, (iii) international conference information, (iv) information on achievements and accreditations of each major, (v) ease of employment for alumni.
