Improving performance of internet of things (IoT) telecomunication company using interpretive structural modeling in Indonesia

Abstract

Telecommunications company have to improve their business performance in order to satisfy the customers. In Indonesia, telecommunications company has provided best services, improving operational systems by designing a framework for operational systems of the Internet of Things (IoT) others name for Machine to Machine (M2M). This study was conducted with expert opinion which further processed by the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to obtain important factor for organizations operational systems, and the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method to determine factors of organization which found drives the biggest power to improve operational performance. This study has resulted the greatest weight of SLA and KPI handling problems. ISM framework obtained from the current dashboard and current M2M connectivity is becoming a major driving factor, so as to improve the overall M2M system performance organization.
