Implementasi Online HSSE Passport di Perusahaan XYZ: Literature Review

Introduction: XYZ Company experienced illness fatalities up to four times and several work incidents/accidents during 2018-2019. Work accident investigations are carried out using the SCAT (Systematic Causes Analysis Technique) method to find direct causes and basic causes. The results of the investigation show that in the 2018-2019 range, the basic cause that dominates is lack of knowledge. Purpose: This writing aims to share the methods/tools used by XYZ Company to ensure that all workers who will work have adequate knowledge of HSSE aspects and are fit to work so that they can be declared fit to work by the Company. So that workers already have 2 (two) of the above, illness fatality can be suppressed and work accidents with basic causes due to lack of knowledge can be minimized. In addition, the author will show the advantages of this online HSSE Passport compared to the HSSE Passport book (paper based). Method: This online HSSE passport was initiated by several related function workers (HSSE, IT, HC-Medical functions). With this tool, the XYZ company has an online and real time mechanism to ensure that all workers who will work have adequate knowledge of HSSE aspects and are fit to work so that the company can be declared fit to work. The online HSSE passport is also compared to the previous method which still uses the HSE passport book (paper based). Result: The Online HSSE passport has been implemented since quarter 4 of 2019 in stages throughout the working areas of XYZ Company and also compared its utilization with the previous method which still uses the HSE Passport book (paper based). The results of the comparison show that online HSSE passports have advantages in cost savings (paperless), ease of access by the Contractor Supervision Function (online and realtime), speed of data validation by the HSSE Function and Contractor Supervision Function as well as high levels of information security because digital data is stored on the server XYZ company. Conclusion: XYZ Company continues to use online HSSE passports as a substitute for HSE Passport books (paper based) with the consideration that online HSSE passports have advantages in cost savings (paperless), ease of access by the Contractor Supervision Function (online and realtime), speed of data validation by the Function HSSE and Contractor Supervision Functions as well as high levels of information security because digital data is stored on XYZ company servers. This is expected to be an alternative method for other companies to control illness fatality and accidents with basic causes of lack of knowledge. In addition, the author will show the advantages of this online HSSE Passport compared to the HSSE Passport book (paper based) in the previous paragraph.
