Impact of Antifraud Tracking System Implementation in Multifinance Company: A Case Study of Home Credit Indonesia

Abstract

The rapid development of the e-commerce industry in Indonesia has impacted the number of frauds that is increasing significantly. To support the monitoring activity of the fraud activities, Home Credit Indonesia has built an integrated system, called Antifraud Tracking System (ATS Web) which processes data from various sources and sends data to other systems. This study aims to assess how the impact of ATS Web implementation towards the individual, workgroup, and organization. This study analyzed measurement indicators that contain system quality, information quality, service quality, individual impact, workgroups impact, and organizational impact. The analysis used a mixed-method that combined quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were obtained from the results of questionnaires that were distributed to 19 members of the Antifraud investigation team and were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Qualitative data was obtained from an interview with Antifraud Investigation Manager. According to the result analysis, implementation of Antifraud Tracking System (ATS Web) had a positive relationship between system quality, information quality, and service quality with individual impact. It proved as ATS Web was easy to use, integrated with other system, and delivered proper business solution. Meanwhile, individual impact had a positive relationship with workgroup impact but both were not supported a positive impact to the organizational, as ATS Web was not contributed for decision-making purposes and organizational cost reduction.
