N2 - ABSTRACT
Background. Fluid resstriction adherence is a burden to patient with end stage kidney disease (ESKD). Fluid restriction nonadherence can lead to treatment failure, reduce quality of life, and increase morbidity and mortality number. Aim. to identify the corelation between fluid management knowledge level with fluid restriction adherence in ESKD patient undergoing haemodialysis at RSAU dr. Esnawan Antariksa Jakarta Timur. Method. The study design was the Cross Sectional with 91 respondents, obtained by consecutive sampling. Data collected through filling questionnaire and observating Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG). Result. The data was analysed by Chi-Square (bivariate) with α=0.05, it was found that there was no significant association between fluid management knowledge level with fluid restriction adherence (p value 0,88>α). Con- clusion. Knowledge regarding fluid management has no impact on fluid restriction ad- herence. Thus, further study is recommended to examine other factors that influences flu- id restriction adherence.
