Hierarchical construction strategy on LudoxZSM-5 to improve oxidative desulfurization catalytic performanced

Abstract

This study analyzes the success of the pore hierarchy formation strategy on ludoxZSM-5 to obtain Fe-Co/LudoxZSM-5 Hierarchy catalysts, which is initial research on the synthesis of catalysts for use in oxidative desulfurization processes in fuels. The analysis was carried out by computational simulation of data from the results of the Brunauer Emmet Teller (BET) instrument test. This strategy succeeded in demonstrating the construction of a meso/macropore bimodal hierarchical structure as a result of the dealumination process against LudoxZSM-5, and a micro/meso/macropore multimodal hierarchy after the bimetal Fe-Co impregnation treatment. The simulation results also show that the hierarchical ZSM-5 catalyst design strategy is achieved by maximizing the hierarchical factor (HF).
