Abstract
Most liver hemangiomas are small and asymptomatic, but large, or giant, hemangiomas may be symptomatic and can occur with hemangioma-like vessels (HLVs) distant from the primary tumor. We report three cases of giant cavernous hemangioma of the liver in adults, with the hemangioma recurring in one of the three patients 8 months after surgical resection. All cases had clusters of HLVs located far from the primary tumor and in the resection margin.
