Abstract

Nano-size effect on structure of crystal of free-standing La2-xSrxCuO4 (LSCO) nanoparticles was observed to reveal size effects of La-based high-Tc superconducting oxides. Lattice parameters were estimated by changing temperature and time of sintering. It is concluded that heat treatment plays a key role in controlling particle size of sample. Lattice distortions will occur when the particle size of sample becomes smaller.
