The use of wireless access network continues to grow along with the growing use of smartphones. Currently wireless networks have entered the 5G era where a lot of features and capabilities provided by 5G such as bandwidth, speed and low latency.Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology that uses fiber optic has been widely used for fixed broadband services and has become a massive solution.On the other hand, the development of cellular services (4G 5G) is so rapid, it also develops services with the characteristics of need service (fast Bandwidth), large capacity and low latency. To deploy the above 5G services, a backhaul network solution is required to connect the central office to the BTS (Base Station). Some current alternatives used for backhaul solutions are using Wireless technology (Radio IP), wireline (copper and fiber). The use of fiber network can be used with Metro ethernet or GPON network approach.The focus of GPON use, the problem encountered is the requirement of latency below 5 ms. With the default solution then the latency cannot be met.Therefore in this study, for latency requirements can be met then the method of delivery of packages that are more varied is used.
