Abstract
Introduction: Forecasting is defined as a forecasting process that is carried out systematically about what is most likely to happen in the future based on past and current information that is owned. Forecasting visits within a certain period of time can help health service providers improve the quality of services which will have an impact on increasing customer satisfaction rates Objective: The author wants to know the forecasting of visits from outpatient units for the next 10 years so that the clinic can accelerate the process of transformation into a hospital and can improve the quality and quantity of health services offered to patients Methods: This study is a descriptive study. Methods of data collection using the method of study documentation. The population of this study is data on patient visits and new outpatients in 2017-2021 with a total sample of the population. Data analysis used a linear trend with the least squares method Results: The increase in patient visits per day in 2017-2021 fluctuated with an average increase of 24.6%. The highest increase in 2019 was 44.4%. After predicting the average patient visit for the next ten years (2022-2031), an average increase of 8.35% per year was obtained Conclusion: Forecasting outpatient visits that experienced an increase can be used as a basis for consideration in formulating strategic plans related to maintaining service quality, and can be used as a means of clinical marketing planning so that clinics can attract more patients or prospective patients to visit so that management can also estimate human resources needed.
