Abstract

Introduction: Psychological safety in HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) context is critical in incident prevention in oil and gas industry. However, researches on the psychological safety in HSE context in oil and gas industry are still few eventhough low psychological safety has been reported contributing to major accidents in oil and gas industry. Objective: This research aims to identify influencing factors of psychological safety in HSE context in oil and gas industry. Method: This research is a literature review using “PRISMA” (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Guidances) method with the researches were identified via databases using the keywords in Google Scholar and Science Direct, and via other methods sourced from the relevant organizations and university’s scientific journal. 1084 records were identified, but only 9 (nine) researches fulfill inclusion and exclusion criterias. Result: The instruments have been used to measure psyhcological safety in HSE context in oil and gas industry containing questions to assess willingness for safety voice and stop work. The influencing factors of the psyhcological safety in HSE context in oil and gas industry might be grouped into individual factors, interpersonal factors, psychosocial factors, leadership factors, and organizational factors. Conclusion: The influencing factors of psyhcological safety in HSE context in oil and gas industry are individual factors, interpersonal factors, psychosocial factors, leadership factors, and organizational factors.
