N2 - PT XYZ is an innovative internet company specializing in the development of online commerce solutions to enhance and simplify sales operations. Like many focused start-ups aiming to accelerate and refine product delivery, the methodology of Scrum is implemented in the process of software development at PT XYZ. However, discrepancies between Sprint Goals and Objective Key Results (OKRs) highlight challenges in the process. This research thoroughly investigates the maturity level of the organization's software development process, recommending specific enhancements via a joint Scrum Maturity Model (SMM) and Agile Maturity Model (AMM) methodology. Information was compiled through a mixture of interviews, surveys, and close monitoring of the methods, documents, and tools involved in software development. To understand and interpret these findings, the Key Process Area (KPA) rating from the Agile Maturity Model was utilized. The findings from the study indicate that the company's process maturity level is at 1, with all overarching goals receiving high scores. PT XYZ is advised to consider implementing 31 suggested practices across different maturity levels. Furthermore, the organization ought to place emphasis on enhancements derived from the General Goals at maturity level 2 to boost the overall maturity. The research methodology can serve as a helpful reference for evaluating maturity and offering practical recommendations for other start-ups in the industry.
