N2 - Data has an important role in helping decision making. Therefore, data management is needed starting from the operational data level to ensure it can be processed into quality information. This research was conducted at PT. XYZ which is a State-Owned Enterprise and it focused on evaluating how data operations management is implemented and how the role of data operations management in improving company performance. This research develops a conceptual model in the DAMA-DMBOK Guide and measures the level of maturity using Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) with a minimum level of expected maturity at level 3 and compares its application to PT. XYZ. The results indicated that PT. XYZ has a gap between the expected minimum value and the test result value of 0.7. Where only 5 (five) of the 15 (fifteen) activities in data operations management have met a minimum level of maturity, namely Implement and Control Database Environment, Acquire Externally Sourced Data, Plan for Data Recovery, Backup and Recover Data, and Define the Database Architecture.
