Abstract

Background: Hygiene is a public health effort that studies the influence of environmental conditions on human health or efforts to prevent the emergence of disease due to environmental influences. Objective: Evaluate the data obtained regarding the magnitude of exposure encountered and recommend control measures that can provide protection for occupational health Method: This research was conducted using descriptive statistics, which aims to evaluate the results of measuring physical factors in the work environment using UV rays, light, noise and working climate measurement parameters in 2018,2019 and 2021. Measurements are carried out by direct reading using a UV Radiation Meter, Lux Meter, Noise Dosimeter, Sound Level Meter and Thermal Environmental Monitor. Results: The work environment measurement report obtained shows that there are several results that exceed the NAB (Threshold Value) which refers to the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Regulation No. 5 of 2018, namely measurements of UV-rays, light, noise and working climate. Conclusion: From industrial hygiene monitoring, several results were found that needed attention because they showed intensity/levels that tended to exceed applicable regulations and the need for evaluative action such as adjusting SOP/ appropriate use of PPE, shortening and lengthening contact with sources of danger as well as adjusting the required light requirements accordingly. the type. work to maintain occupational health and safety for both the work environment and workers.
